Orange SAM Bolt Review

With the popularity of carbon-fiber parts among street car tuners, it was only a matter of time before the light weight, yet strong material, made it onto the paintball fields. Orange paintball’s S.A.M. Tuner Bolt is an upgrade bolt for the Matrix line of markers, made of carbon fiber, this bolt not only looks very nice, but it is also very light.

The light weight of this bolt means that it takes less air to move it. It was my experience that the weight of the bolt also made my marker a little bit faster, and gave my marker a little less kick. Another nice design feature of the S.A.M. Bolt is an orange rod that goes through the middle of the bolt. This rod creates a Venturi effect which forces the air to hit a paintball across a larger surface area. What does this mean? It means that the paintball will be propelled with more stability, possibly making your marker more accurate.

While all of these enhancements in performance are small, every little bit helps. I would recommend this bolt to anyone who owns a matrix and wants a lit bit more out of their marker.
