Indian Creek Designs BKO

By HiredGun

The Indian Creek Designs BKO is quite the versatile little piece of electronic mechanism. The parts that come stock on these markers are a little bit sketchy (weak) but easily upgraded. The newer models of the BKO have sleek milling that would catch anyone’s eyes. When you receive this marker, it’s ready to be torn out of the box and gassed up for play. This marker is great for woods ball or entry-level tournament play.

A few upgrades that I’d recommend:

First I would recommend a new regulator, even though the stock one is okay, a Bob Long Torpedo would probably be the best bet to rock your marker with. Another upgrade that may come in handy would be a new barrel or barrel kit (new BKO’s use Autococker threading).

If your going to use a BKO that is 2003 or older you have to use ICD threading (all-American back and a freak front works amazing). Dye Stickies (grips) can improve any gun and it is obviously an intense step up from those terrible stock grips. The BKO is a pretty fast marker so you will need a loader (hopper) that keeps up with your shots.

For loaders I would recommend a Halo B or even an EvoLutionII. If your still not satisfied with your marker and want it to rip even more than it currently does, a vapor works chaos board is an immense upgrade that any player would be satisfied with. With a chaos board intact, your marker will rip up too 20bps! Or unlimited if you have PDS (Paintball Detection System or eyes).

The stock bolt is pretty good and should be a last upgrade because it works better than most aftermarket bolts I have seen. Drops are purely personal feel so upgrade, as you feel comfortable. A trigger job to decrease the pull may be a good idea if you want to pull faster. A low pressure nitrogen tank is a necessity which is highly recommended for the BKO and

In the end, the Indian Creek Designs BKO is a wicked marker for an intermediate player who wants to step up from Tippmanns and Spyders. The BKO is also a great project gun to play with. ICD really impressed me with the BKO and it will impress anyone who picks it up. Remember ladies and gentleman to always have a barrel condom or plug on your marker when not in game for safety issues. Play Safe.
