GLP OPPL tournament was a pleasant experience
Jim Colvin and Great Lakes Paintball recentlly hosted one of the Ohio Pennsylvania Paintball League (OPPL) tournaments at their beautiful paintball park. Located in Bellevue Ohio, between Cleavland and Toledo, Great Lakes Paintball offers Ohio paintball players an experience to remember. Jim and his staff run a first class outfit. Players can play on any number of concept fields, a traditional wood crate speedball field, or woods games. The fields are designed with the crowds in mind. Every field can be viewed from a protected viewing area with bleachers for all, the woods field being the only exception. After the games are over, players can purchase a lasting videotape of their day's efforts. How's that for advanced technology? The O.P.P.L. tournament began without a hitch. Jim explained the rules to all the players, not just captains, and began play immediately. The teams registered for various divisions and prizes. The 5 Man Amatuer A division consisted of 11 teams vying for a $1000 cash prize, VL Revolutions and other prizes. The 5 Man Amatuer A division consisted of two teams competing for VL Revolutions, t shirts, barrels, and trophies. The 3 Man Rookie was played with no electronic hoppers and a 200 round limit. Seven teams were competeing for trophies, VL Revolutions, t shirts, and other prizes. The Results: 5 Man Amatuer A 5 Man Amatuer B 3 Man Rookie |
