Impulse Smart Parts Impulse The Impulse is the latest addition to the electric marker class and quite an impressive one. We recently had the chance to try an Impulse and were pleased with our preliminary results.
The Impulse shoots well but feels loose. It's not easy to describe but it had an aire of looseness about it. It's not a bad feeling, but rather a subdued one. It was extremely fast and we felt very confident with the Impulse in our hands. One minor correction that needs to be made, the trigger makes a strange noise when pulled back to far. Another compalint, or perhaps an asset is a strange noise that is emitted when the Impulse is out of paintballs and shoots dry. Perhaps later models will be corrected. As for the trigger a little guard can easily correct that problem. Out of the box the impulse shoots very well. We were very surprised at being able to nail our 35 foot targets very accurately. Not much needed there. Furthermore, it does not ruffle your feathers and will not jiggle or cock backwards upon firing. It stays still in your hand. That felt very good. Impressive marker, hopefully later models will have all the kinks worked out. Price: about $499 new See what our readers are saying
